About Us

Stonegate is owned and operated by Matt Coppins and Jarod Chinnick. Matt grew up in the Kawartha Lakes and Jarod has lived here for 12 years. They met 22 years ago at University in Thunder Bay and quickly became friends, sharing their interests in rock climbing and outdoor adventures. Their comfort level at heights is an asset for installing metal roofs and framing. They've worked in the construction industry since they were teenagers and now, with their own business, enjoy helping clients improve their lives by improving their physical spaces.
